Hey! A killer new Christian Metal Prog, Djent, Metal EPK for:
A Vessel of Honor
Christian Metal band
A little something about them.
A Vessel of Honor is a modern Christian Metal band from South-western Virginia who’s take on contemporary heavy metal features strong scripture backed vocals and heart pumping grooves. The fresh sound of AVOH stems from dropped tuning and pairing their six-string chugs with a seven-string lead guitar. Their tonality includes synthesized elements like orchestras and hard-hitting bass drops all set off with djent rhythms and double bass drum accents. Christian and non-Christian fans will not be disappointed with their post-hardcore sound, melodic attributes and featured breakdown rhythms. With over 16 years in youth ministry, Thadd Christian saw a gap in the interests of Christians and the needs of the post-hardcore / heavy metal audience for something between entertainment and spiritual, scripture backed music. Together with childhood friend and longtime band mate, Matthew Eanes, they embarked on a new recording project to fill that gap. One year later A Vessel of Honor formed to its current lineup of men who feel a collective call to music ministry and started touring to further THE Kingdom, shine a light where so often Christ is not welcome, and reach those who have stagnated in their faith due to the influence of negativity in their music and thought lives. We are sinners saved by grace. We are not perfect and we don’t have it all together. Just like you our experiences have forged us into the men we are. Daily we struggle to increase in wisdom and more lovingly show mercy and forgiveness to others through thought, word, and deed. We seek to follow Christ more closely and through that journey be better disciples and teachers. A Vessel of Honor would like to earnestly thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without his guidance, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We thank our families who have sacrificed with us and supported us through the hardships, and rejoiced with us on the mountain tops. We want to thank our listeners because you are the reason we still devote ourselves to this ministry. We appreciate your support and ask that God would impact each ear that hears the words and notes that He has given us, and hold each hand that touches this album. To those we meet along this journey – You are loved. You are not alone. May the author and sustainer of all creation bless you.Thank you for your support of our journey, music, and our ministry. We thank God for the opportunity to bring this album to life and for the strength to continue. We hope that these words pour a loving light into the dark corners of the world and fill a gap in discipleship ministries to those like us who fall between the cracks
